Category: Music & Theatre Date: Saturday, 08 February 2014 Young talent and the classical music of greats such as Mozart and Beethoven will get a dual celebration as part of the Youth Camerata, a popular concert that takes the island of Guernsey by storm every year. The 2014 incarnation of the event will welcome back young musical prodigies Eloise Fabbri and Katie Gough, both of whom are currently studying performance at the Birmingham Conservatoire. They will be accompanied by a number of up-and-coming musicians from the island for a highly exciting programme that includes Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op.109, Puccini's Quando M'en Vo and Dvorak's Song to the Moon. Established pianist Tom Hicks, who has competed worldwide in various piano competitions, will also perform in what is sure to be a memorable evening. Ensure that your accommodation is as sophisticated as your evening of classical music by checking into The Duke of Richmond, where you can enjoy all the pleasures of Guernsey as part of the Tale of 2 Islands package.
