The Princess Royal Centre for the Performing Arts is to host a screening of the new West End production of Peter Morgan's play The Audience on June 25th 2013.

To be recorded on June 13th at the National Theatre, the play provides a fictionalised insight into the private conversations that have taken place between Queen Elizabeth II and each of her 12 prime ministers on a weekly basis for many decades.

Dame Helen Mirren is playing the esteemed monarch - reprising a role for which she won an Oscar in Morgan's acclaimed film The Queen - while Billy Elliot and The Hours director Stephen Daldry will oversee the production.

The Audience provides accounts of meetings between Her Royal Highness and national leaders from Winston Churchill to David Cameron, providing an insight into the evolution of British society from a constant perspective.

People who book a Get More From Your Stay deal at The Duke of Richmond Hotel can enjoy the show while taking advantages of various indulgent extras at the luxury Guernsey hotel, with options including Champagne on arrival, an afternoon tea or a three-course dinner for two.
