PROPIETOR: The Duke of Richmond Hotel
All accommodation offered is subject to being available at the time of the receipt of the reply.
Reservations are subject to written acceptance and confirmation.
Prices are charged in accordance with the current Hotel tariff and no responsibility is taken for prices published by publications outside of our control.
CANCELLATION: In the event of a cancellation a charge, including the deposit paid, will be levied in accordance with the following table: |

CURTAILMENT: Curtailment of stay will incur a charge of 50% of one night's accommodation..
HOLIDAY INSURANCE SCHEME: Air and ferry services are occasionally affected by adverse weather conditions. In such instances the cancellation charges outlined above still apply. Clients are therefore strongly advised to consider taking out a holiday insurance, which would protect against cancellation.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES: Check in time for rooms are 14.00hrs and clients are requested to vacate their rooms by 11.00hrs.
PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS: Accounts are rendered each seven days and payment is expected on day of receipt. All outstanding monies must be settled on departure from the hotel. Cheques only accepted to the sum guaranteed by the banker's card.
Cheques cannot be accepted without prior arrangement with the Management when 10 days clearance will be required. Traveller's cheques and foreign currencies accepted at the discretion of the Management and the prevailing rates as advised by its bank
VISA, MASTERCARD, SOLO, DELTA, MAESTRO, DINERS CLUB and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit and charge cards are accepted.
Long-term residents' accounts should be settled on a weekly basis, alternatively should your account exceed £500 you will automatically be presented with your account for immediate settlement..
Functions and organised parties paying through a central account are accepted on conditions that accounts rendered are settled within 30 days of receipt.
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel or modify arrangements made if, for unseen circumstances outside the control of the Hotel, this is unavoidable. In such conditions, the Hotel will endeavour to arrange suitable alternatives and in the event of being unsuccessful, all deposits will be refunded in full.
Whilst care is taken to provide secure conditions, clients are strongly advised to take all reasonable precautions to safeguard their property and attention is drawn to the notices limiting the Hotel's liability and which are found in the Reception area.
